7 Amazing Vegan Cookbooks You Have to Try This January

January has all but been rebranded as Veganuary, and we’re 110% happy about that.

After the over-indulgence of Christmas, all the sweet treats and late-night snacks, Veganuary is a chance to reset your body, to give your tastebuds a rest from the sugar, to get experimental in the kitchen again.

Say goodbye to your chicken wings and your roast beef. So long to the camembert and the custard tarts. Instead, say hello to the tasty greens, the delicious protein-packed tofu, and your favourite: mushrooms.

Okay, so it’s quite hard to explain the depth of flavour, the variety of ingredients and the simple but delicious recipes you can create, with just a few words. You need to taste the meals, smell their delectable spices. Words on paper (ehem, screen) mean nothing when talking about food, but vegan food especially.

That’s why we’ve left it up to the professionals to write the words (usually called recipes) for these tantalising masterpieces: aka the 7 amazing vegan cookbooks you have to try this January, and beyond.

You can check out all our vegan cookbooks over on our bookshop.org page.

It’s time to don that apron and get cracking.

But no eggs. Remember, vegan.
